CAMP Guide

TRAIL TIPS
👟 Footwear Matters: This isn’t a ballroom — think grass, gravel, and a little adventure. Wedges, boots, or flats will be your best friend.
🚗 Arrive Early: Campers who arrive early get the best parking spots and the least stress.
🌤️ Dress for the Weather: Michigan likes to keep us on our toes. Layers are always a good idea.
🦟 Bug Defense Recommended: We’ll do our best, but nature invites itself. A little bug spray goes a long way.
💡 It Gets Dark Out Here: We’ll have lighting, but a phone flashlight never hurts for late-night exploring.
⛰️ It’s a Bit of a Trek: There’s a short walk between locations. Plan accordingly and give yourself a few extra minutes.

1. You've Received Your Invitation

  • Determine if you plan to attend.
  • If your invitation stated "& Guest" and/or "& Family", determine if you will be bringing a guest and how many of your children will be attending.
  • Reply YES or NO to the invitation for all guests in your immediate party.
  • Replies must be submitted by April 30th, 2026.

If you came here to RSVP, we’re sorry you didn’t get here in time. There is a lot to plan, and a lot we are creating ourselves, and we needed a firm number earlier than the typical event.

4. Prepare for Camp Happily Ever After

  • Check the location and directions, and prepare your travel time appropriately to arrive and be seated by 4 PM. (3:30 PM if you'd like a drin beforehand!)
  • Pack any specific bug spray or sunscreen you may need.
  • Pack a hat, sunglasses, umbrella, and a jacket so you are ready for whatever weather Michigan blesses us with that day.
  • Test out the shoes you plan to wear to ensure they are comfortable for any weather, the outdoor terrain, hours of wear, and that you can dance in them.
  • Get plenty of rest leading up to Camp Happily Ever AfTer so that you are ready to have a lot of fun!

5. Arrive at Camp Happily Ever After Ready to Celebrate

  • Mark your calendar for June 20th, 2026.
  • Set your alarm for the time you need to leave so that you may arrive on time.
  • Travel safely to Jack Frost Museum (61741 Campground Rd., Washington, MI 48094).
  • Follow all posted signs for drop-off and parking upon arrival.
  • Head to grab a drink and mingle. Then find your seat in time for the ceremony to begin.
  • If you arrive after the ceremony begins, security will ask you to remain in the parking area until the ceremony concludes.
